We spend time reading and understanding the Bible passages behind our content, deciding what children should learn, and finding clear, age-appropriate ways to communicate it. That means planning lyrics, scripts, stories, questions and activities carefully.
♫ Songwriting and music production ›
Every song involves developing the message, writing and refining lyrics, composing or arranging music, recording vocals, editing and preparing the finished track. We want the songs to be enjoyable and genuinely useful for teaching children about Jesus.

Creating our videos involves planning scenes, preparing characters and backgrounds, animating movement, editing, checking visual consistency, and bringing the music, voice and story together. Even a short video can involve many stages of work.

We turn Bible teaching and songs into stories and activities children can follow. That includes developing storylines, page-by-page concepts, illustrations, age-appropriate questions and resources that parents, teachers and children's ministry teams can use.

Games and digital resources need ideas, design, coding, testing, improvements and ongoing maintenance. We want children to enjoy playing while learning something meaningful, so we also spend time improving how the activities work.

Our work doesn't end when something is finished. There are websites, hosting, software, distribution, updates, accessibility and everyday running costs involved in helping families, schools and churches find and use CHIBOOKS resources.
Contributions support CHIBOOKS' work as a whole, including necessary operating costs. They aren't reserved for a particular song, game or project.

We've spent years creating Christian content for children and making much of it freely available to families around the world.

A few common questions
Is CHIBOOKS a charity?
No. CHIBOOKS is a UK Community Interest Company (CIC), not a registered charity. Contributions aren't eligible for Gift Aid.
What will my contribution pay for?
Contributions support CHIBOOKS as a whole, including creative work, production, technology, new resources, existing resources and necessary running costs. They aren't restricted to one project.
Can I stop a monthly contribution?
Yes, absolutely. Just email support@chibooks.co.uk and ask us to cancel your monthly contribution. We’ll help you stop future payments.
Will I receive anything in return?
No. This is voluntary support, not a purchase or membership. There are no goods, services or exclusive benefits in exchange.
Is payment secure?
Yes. Payments are made on Stripe's hosted checkout. This website doesn't collect or store your card details.
Can I give from outside the US?
Amounts are shown in US dollars. Depending on your card and bank, you may be able to contribute from another country. Your payment provider may apply currency conversion charges.
